Meet the team

Melanie Brown, Manager

I have been the manager of CASC for 10 years. In this time I have enjoyed learning more about childhood practice through my studies at Edinburgh College and have especially enjoyed learning (and remembering) how important play is. My favourite part of the job is getting to know the children and seeing (and hearing) them play.

Fiona Brown, Administrator/Treasurer

I originally joined the ASC as a committee member around 2001 when my daughter attended the clubs. In 2004 I joined the team as Administrator, a role that covers the day-to-day admin. As the club grew, the role quickly expanded to include the financial side, so for the last 12/13 years I have been the Administrator/Treasurer. I initially joined the committee as I knew that this is vital for the running of the club. I can honestly say that I still enjoy the work and being part of an excellent, professional & friendly bunch of ladies that has made me stay on after so many years.

Kelly Edie, Playworker

I’m one of the youngest members of the team, and not every day is the same. If the children would like to do messy play, I’m the one that facilitates that – I don’t mind mucking in. I’m also good at fixing technical problems, if the wii controllers aren’t working, I lend a hand.

Nina Brown, Playleader

I thoroughly enjoy my time working here and as they say, everyday is a learning day! I love watching the children create and invent and always look forward to seeing where their ideas lead. Here’s to many more years ahead.
