We hope you have had a restful and playful October break. We look forward to welcoming the children back with the return to school on Wednesday 26th October.

Our AGM and Committee meeting is being held in the ASC on Wednesday 26th October at 6.30pm. We are a charity and so depend upon the involvement of parents in joining the committee to ensure the smooth operation of the service. All are welcome… there may be biscuits.

The flu vaccine is being offered to all children in Scotland aged 2 – 5 years. You can visit nhsinform.scot/childflu or call 0800 030 8013 to find out how to get the flu vaccine for your child.

We hope our families have had a lovely summer and that the children are looking forward to the new school year. A reminder that we return with the school on Wednesday 18th August. This includes our breakfast club. Have a great first day.

Time is flying, the end of the school year doesn’t feel too far away and we are thinking ahead to our summer holidays.

The list for the holiday club will open on 23rd May. This year we are asking our families to come into the club to sign up in person. If this is difficult for you, please telephone Sharon on 0131 665 1748 and she can assist.

The dates we are offering are: 19, 20, 21st July/ 26, 27, 28th July/ 2, 3 and 4th August and 9, 10, 11th August.

Our opening hours will be 08.30 – 16.30. Half day session are available (08.30 – 12.30 or 12.30 – 16.30). A full day will cost £22.00 and a half day, £13.00. We ask for payment to be made by 10th June.

Our Holiday club will open where there is a demand from parents. Sharon will be in touch to confirm dates that we will be running. It is essential we have an up to date registration form for any child that attends.

Afterschool Club will be closing for the Easter Break and will return with the school on Monday 25th April. Wishing you all a restful and playful break.

As the Christmas term comes to a close, the team wish all our children and their family’s a happy and playful Christmas. We will look forward to seeing them again when we return on Wednesday the 5th January.

This year’s AGM will take place in the After School Club on Wednesday 27th October 2021 at 6.30pm.

We are always looking for new Parents and Carers to join us on the committee to bring new ideas and input on how the club is running, so if you think you could spare around  an hour a term, then we’d love to have you on board.

We still need to keep a check on numbers attending so if you would like to join us on the 27th, please email cascfiona@gmail.com who will confirm back that we can allocate spaces.

CASC will now be closed for a few weeks before the Summer Club starts on Tuesday 13th July. Families attending summer club will receive information about the activities we are offering. Please ensure your child brings/uses sun protection and brings a change of clothing that can be held in the club.

If your child is going to be absent from Summer Club please call and leave a message on 0131 665 1748.

Snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoons with water/drinks available throughout the day.

Lunch is not provided. Please provide a packed lunch, making sure to cut grapes or small tomatoes in half.

Last but not least, we are running holiday club as one “bubble”. Please do not send your child to the summer club if they have any symptoms of covid or if you have any concerns about a confirmed or potential case of covid. Please inform us asap by calling the club on 0131 665 1748. If there is no answer, please leave a message.
